As most of you know, I’m a wedding photographer on the weekends. I’ve been to about 30 receptions as a photographer and a few more as an attendant. This is just a little bitter, but I don’t know if I can take another Electric Slide. Why do people love that song? It’s all about the moves right? The moves that only 1/3 of the people really know.
What about YMCA? How gay can music really be? Bad reception music is like the plague, you just can’t get away from it. They play YMCA and Electric Slide… then BAM… Macarana.
When I get married, I will be speaking with the DJ beforehand. I will have a list of banned music, which no man will put asunder. As of this moment, of of the songs that will be playing at my wedding will be “Shake It” by Metro Station. I’ve even turned Dusty onto it. It’s hot shit people, download and spread it around.
