This weekend I got a wild hair up my butt and decided to get a new iMac. I would have rather purchased a MacPro but I can’t afford such things on my limited budget.
Once I had this beautiful piece of equipment in my house, I had to completely rip out all the old peripherals for my old computer. I had cables, dust, dirt and of course dog hair everywhere. Once the room was cleared out, I vacuumed, dusted, and febreezed the carpet.
I have a laptop, but I never synced all my stuff to it since it wasn’t my main computer. After working with the .mac stuff for a bit, I had my entire life synchronized. Now, my Google account talks with my desktop which speaks with my phone, and all is well. Both my laptop and desktop have the same preferences and a central storage place with .mac. To most, this might seem to be nothing. For me, it’s very important to have all of my stuff working right.
It drives me crazy when stuff doesn’t work the way it should.
You know, I wouldn’t be the first person you would expect to get a tattoo. I think that is exactly why I did it. I’ve wanted to get one for a while but couldn’t really figure out something I would like for the rest of my life. I also couldn’t quite put a finger on where I would stick it.
Do I go for something hidden such as a shoulder or lower back? Should I put something in with a lot of color and fancy stuff?
When it came down to it, I choose to go with a standard Apple icon. I love Apple and it suites me. As you can see from the pictures below, I placed it on my left wrist so everyone could see.
Most of you won’t care about this little event that happened at Apple today but for me… its a warm fuzzy inside. Maybe a better phrase would be technology porn.
I’m a klutz. Yesterday I dropped my iPhone again. AGAIN! It’s like I have a suicidal phone! Maybe my fingerprints aren’t deep enough? I found a great site for skins. For $15.00 how can you go wrong?
