So Dusty and I are walking down the street jabbering away at nothing in particular. We just finished lunch at Jimmy Johns and were feeling less than full but still pretty spunky.

Then this girl in a motorized wheelchair comes flying down the sidewalk almost side swiping me. ( This happens more than you think ) I look to my right and Dusty has a grin on her face. I say, “Damn, how fast was she going!”

If she would have side swiped me, could I really do anything? She was in a wheelchair, so what am I supposed to do? My toes could be bloodied up and broken but it’s not like I could push her over or something.

The same is true for old ladies and people with walkers. They can be some mean ass people and hit you with their cane! You can’t hit back. What the heck would you say to a police officer if they came by?

“It’s an 80 year old woman sir, how much damage could she have done to you?”

I say having some type of mechanical apparatus gives you an advantage over me. It’s like the point system when your in the car. People in wheelchairs and small children are more points because they can get away faster.
